Getting Started
Opening files
Tap the menu button, then "Open File" to pick a Markdown, JSON, or YAML file from your device or iCloud Drive.
Browsing the web
Type a URL or search term in the address bar. Viewrowser works as a full web browser with tabs.
Navigating documents
Use the floating table of contents to jump between sections. Long-press a heading to copy its text.
Exporting content
Tap the share button to export the current view as PNG, PDF, or Markdown. Perfect for sending to AI apps.
FAQ
Does it work offline?
Yes. Local files render completely offline. Web pages require an internet connection.
Can I edit files?
Viewrowser is a viewer, not an editor. It focuses on beautifully rendering and sharing content.
Does it support Mermaid diagrams?
Yes. Mermaid code blocks in Markdown are rendered as interactive diagrams.
What about KaTeX / LaTeX math?
Supported. Both inline ($...$) and block ($$...$$) math expressions are rendered.
Is my data collected?
Viewrowser collects minimal, anonymous usage analytics to improve the app. No personal data or file contents are ever collected.
